One advantage of being a student in CSLI is Friday activities! Each Friday, you can participate in Various activities with international students which includes trips such as Whistler, Lynn Canyon Park and Fly Over Canada. All tours are exciting especially for fresh students in order to explore and get to know Vancouver and places like Granville Island, Show Arena and Lookout Vancouver in Harbor Centre. Additionally, another option is games for example Laser Tag, Seymour Mountain Tubing and golf courses. Furthermore, there is entertainment; cooking, movie and slang classes are provided by the school. Also, intensive-academic classes are still an option if you would like to boost your English.

These activities are not just for fun but also to learn new vocabulary and explore Canada as well. The Burnaby Village Museum is a great example for learning and having fun at the same time by going on a tour with Canadian teachers and meeting local people who live in an artificial-old town. However, all of these activities are for free or CSLI would pay for transportation and admissions if needed whereas other schools won’t even offer paid activities.

My favorite activity is the Whistler Trip. I have been there more than five times in both of summer and winter. It’s a great place to feel adrenalin by doing extreme sports. Last winter, I went snowboarding, skating and tubing in addition to enjoying hot coffee bought from a local coffee shop with my friends. At summer time, I enjoyed hiking, cycling through mountains and taking pictures.

Moreover, there are many attractions and things to do, for instance Ziptrek, Bungee Jump, and Peak to Peak Gondola. A 15-minute bus ride away, there is a perfect place called Lost Lake for those who want to take a break, walk or picnic by its peaceful shores.

Furthermore, lots of fancy restaurants and cozy bars are worth a try regardless of whether it is raining, snowing or shining.

Overall, visiting Whistler is an amazing experience that I would do over and over without hesitation.
