CSLI is an English language school specially designed to create a unique atmosphere. It is one of the only private schools in Vancouver to have a ground level location which allows easy access for senior and physically challenged students.
Students can make use of the student lounge, kitchen (microwaves & refrigerator), free coffee and tea, snack and beverage machines, games room (pool table & table tennis), internet and e-mail (high speed access), study room & library, parking, handicap facilities, counseling, and visa assistance.

"When we enter CSLI first, we get a file from the school. The school says that "You are welcome to have lunch here at CSLI in the Student Lounge" and also "Write a journal", so I always tried to do it. However, those things are fun, so I did them. Going to the lounge was my pleasure too. The first week at CSLI I didn't know anyone, so I started to talk to everyone. The lounge is also one of my classrooms!"

 CSLI is situated in Vancouver's newest and trendiest Downtown community, Yaletown. It is the area in Vancouver where adult students can easily meet Canadians their own age. It has fashionable cafés, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Two blocks from CSLI is the Vancouver Library, the Aquabus to Granville Island, sports stadiums, buses, and Robson Street. Within 5 minutes' walk, you can find the Skytrain, BC Place Stadium, False Creek Seawall, the Aquabus, the Roundhouse Community Centre, theatres, fitness centres, supermarkets, and countless other attractions and facilities.

"There are many places to go around the school! Just a few meters away is Yaletown, the trendiest part of Vancouver, with many special shops and restaurants. For sweet lovers, I recommend Yaletown Market just one block away, or the French bakery nearby. If you are addicted to coffee shops, like me, check out the different coffee shops that you find in every direction. Also, the Library isn't more than 600m away, and BC Place and GM Place are also very close. So I can say that there is really something for everyone near (and at) CSLI!"
